Meeko Mobi Oy (hereinafter "we" or "Meeko") is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers and to processing personal data in a transparent manner. Purpose of the register

Personal data is used for the following activities:

Regular data sources

The controller registers information about Meeko Mobi Oy's customers that is provided by the user in the purchase transaction, warranty or return forms, test drive registration, and by e-mail, telephone or other similar means.

Regular data disclosures

We may disclose some necessary information to third parties for the technical administration of the online shop, to guarantee deliveries, and for marketing purposes. We will pass the information on to the credit provider in the context of a credit decision.

If necessary, we will also disclose information to public authorities. We will also inform the customer of the request for information.

Data retention and protection

The data in the customer register will be kept only for the time necessary to fulfil the purposes described in the register description. However, some data may be kept for longer, to the extent necessary to fulfil legal obligations. Data that becomes unnecessary will be disposed of in an appropriate and secure manner.

At the customer's request, the data concerning him/her may be deleted from Meeko Mobi Oy's customer register. The deletion is irreversible and we cannot return deleted customer data.

Legislation imposes obligations to store data for longer periods of time, for example for the following purposes:

  • The Accounting Act prescribes longer retention periods for data, regardless of whether or not the material contains personal data.
  • The purpose is to meet consumer commercial obligations, whether or not the data are kept in a personal file.
  • To take adequate backups of the databases of the online shop and the customer register, to correct system data, error situations and to ensure data security.

Customer data is only accessible to Meeko Mobi Oy's own employees, and the Register is adequately protected from external firewalls and other technical protection measures. The Register is stored only in electronic form and any occasional hard copies are immediately and appropriately destroyed.

Rights of data subjects

Data subjects have rights guaranteed by data protection legislation. The data subject has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him or her are being processed. The data subject has the right to check and see the data relating to him or her and, on request, to receive the data in written or electronic form.

Ebike Brothers also deletes, corrects and completes, on its own initiative, any personal data that it finds to be inaccurate, unnecessary, incomplete or out of date for the purposes of the processing.

In addition, the data subject has the right to request the restriction of the processing of personal data under the conditions laid down in data protection legislation.
